nicked my beloved hws

cant believe it ,stuck both hw97s and all my gear in the boot of my car and took them to work.we were finishing at 4 in the morning and thought id go hunting straight from there.parked the car in the compound and on finishing notice the boot lock had been hammered through,feck me no i thought ,my heart beating ten to the dozen,but the theiving b*****ds had took the guns and left everything else.my own fault i suppose i was only giving my mate a lift .i didnt know wether to laugh or feckin cry.rang the bobbies but you know how that story will pan out .absolutely gutted i loved them guns .so told the wife ,theyre only guns was the reply .yeh i suppose they are .unconsollable i felt lost and angry ,miserable and felt like packing the sport in .this happened on thursday night .but saturday id took the border out for a mooch checking the snares and being genneraly pissed off.but on my return home an airarms box was sitting on the kitchen table what the fecks that i said to thewife,open it she said and the it was a walnut left handed tx200hc in .177 .feck me i nearly kissed her,and in the bag was a hd 4x12x50 scope and mounts.then im afraid to say i did kiss her.she knew my passion was going out with the guns and dog mooching and hunting and that i wasnt the same ,christ its only been a day i said but fair play to her and my mate.he told her what guns ive had and they both went and drove 100 miles or so on the friday and got me this beauty.they tried to get me the hw but would of took a week or so to get one ,so the owner told them the tx was a suitable replacement .god bless him and my wife and mate.im still pissed off for my loss but over the moon with the new gun .guess what yes its sunday and still not even had a bobby round to give him the serial numbers off the hws ,rang but where to busy you know being weekend and all that,yeh right.made up i guess every cloud has a silver tx.atb carl.

Rather than rely solely on the police, get those serials posted on here pronto. Put it out there anyway you can mate, ya never know. If it comes to nothing, so what, you have the company of people who obviously love you and I guess for good reason!

My girlfriend had her house broken into in broad daylight 11am, took £10,000+ worth of items! The police came around 2 days later took some evidence and we heard nothing for atleast a week. Then they kept saying they only had 1 officer on duty and he was 30 miles away so couldn't talk. It really was a joke!
