lurche 48
what would be a good age to to introduce another pup into the house? i have a 18 week old bull x that i want to start working at the end of the summer ,what would be the best age to get another. my thinking is giving her at least a full season of work and then get another rather than trying to struggle to teach two young pups at the same time any thoughts? Brian-911 210
You've got a 18 week old pup...why are you even thinking about getting your next one? Bored of that one already?? Just concentrate on the one you have Quote Link to post

Blainy88 25
I'd wait until your current pup has had a good go at next season, It'll be harder to train two pups at the same time and that could lead to them not getting the attention to detail they need. Plus once your current pup is working it'll be a good way to introduce a new one. 1 Quote Link to post
rocky1 942
wait untill your dog is well esteblish at her a trade maybe about 3 ,so she had a least 2 hard season under her belt and then you,ll know that you dog is worthy of bringing others dogs on . 1 Quote Link to post
BrianSteven72 369
i would wait til the pup you have is doing the job before getting another pup so you can concentrait on one pup at a time wither that is a season or 2or3 seasons dependes on the dog and you and how much work you can give it Quote Link to post
