WIGAN WARRIOR 1
Just looking for some advise really I have a mate who owns a fishery in wigan and is having a big problem with herons that he needs to get rid of ASAP, He has asked me to go up and try and shift these but i am not sure on how i go about this. The decoy herons don't work and i obviously cant shoot them so dose anyone know the best way to deal with these ??? any help would be much appreciated as hes just watching all his new baby carp getting eaten, Literally watching the pound signs be eaten away. Thanks, Danny
The one 8,577
One trout fishery uses a speed boat to keep the cormant's off at day break might work for a heron ??.
peter121 6
hello wigan warrior. might be a long shot pardon the pun.but pending the size of your mates fishery you could try putting in long poles with 30/40 pound mono zig zaging across the lake or ponds .because if they come in from above they touch the mono and of they go . it is a lot of work but could save the fish. regards peter. Top tip, got this at my club works really well. Ours is 10mm rope, only down side is it can restrict casting but most people if not all accept it is a necessity.
