SNAP SHOT 194
CALLING all shooters. The goverment are trying to rip off the shooting community yet again. Its time to make a stand. the election is nearly upon us and the scum will soon be looking for your vote. Make your voice heard on this matter as it is a massive increase from 38 euro pr year to 170 euro every three for ONE RIFLE!!!! and god i'm angry. the situation gets no better for the shotgun licence either..... somewhere in the region off a 66% increase and the workload will be taken away from the garda for two years as its going to be a three year fac IF it gets the go ahead......... WE should not let it slip by and then a week to go think jesus...... There's a time to act and that time is now..... Who wants a five to six hundred euro bill for a few guns. its an untenable situation to be in. I don't know about the rest of you but the celtic tiger done me no good...... it only shit in my back yard while swiftly passing by......... I'll have to sacrifice my fav hobbie for stamp collecting.... simply because i will not be able to afford it. AS it is simply a hobbie. Who else in this country pays this much...... for so little in return. DON'T let this goverment get away with it..... or soon you'll be paying for the god given right to breath itself. Guest Macnas
It's not this government, it's this civil service. The canvassers will be visiting us all from now on, make sure you raise the point with them. I've already spoken about it to Batt O'Keefe, and will any other politico who I can collar. Des Crofton of the NARGC is going to try and get something done about it, he's a fecking hero and deserves a medal for the work he's done already.

Right on macnas!!! des is da man pity he wasn't running for election. Every time i see the canvassers coming they put up a wall, and skirt around the subject, And talk about health, education, etc. but i think both the goverment and civil service are one in the same boat. money, money money, des is currently in a battle i'm following v closely,he's a smart guy. FIGHT the power and lets all hope it goes our way. one year should tell
