lampingkid 56
went out last night with a couple of mates for a bit of lamping. we only took my dads lurcher and my lurcher pup. we a had a few good runs but missed them one was in a ploughed field but pretty near the fence line so i said what the heck let the pup off for his first run of the night he had turned it about 4 times and the bunny just made and no more through the fence so unlucky for the pup. so we headed up the way to a big grass field were there are normally a few rabbits out but didn't see any so went in to the wood and into an other grass field and seen big green eyes fox so we stood and watched and tryed to squeek it in closer but it sat and watched us and ran into the woods so. we headed back down to the last 2 fields seen one rabbit let the pup off the field was a bit water logged and puddles every ware so what dose he do run in the puddle must of been deep and trips. so let the dads dog off and still missed .so the last chase of the night was in the same field so i decided too let both dogs after this rabbit as it was a far bit out so the 2 dogs was coursing this rabbit and the both caught it so really please with them and they both work well to gather so one in bag but still enjoyed the dosg running al put some pics later alb lk Quote Link to post
