Any one know of a vets what do the hip scores,elbows etc near to selby area ?,thanks.

Any vet could x ray your dogs hips mate, they then send the plates to the bva to be scored, your vet should be able to give you an indication of whether its worth sending them or not. I'd do the eyes first its the cheaper of the two and if your dog fails on its eyes then there's not really any point in hip scoring it.

Cant see the point in either you can have your dog optigen clear and fail its eye test yet mark a bird pinpoint at 100 yards + same with hips ya can have a dog woth poor hip score but still capable if trained right to be a fantastic dog in the feild the amount of good dogs that have been wasted through these crazy tests is madness let alone the amount of money paid to have them done but if you think it will make your dog a better dog then the best round that area is applegarth vets in malton

u only need hip score and eye tests done if your a breeder or u going to breed i do staffs and have mine tested cos people how buy kc pups pay more if u have it done they go for more money and u no u blood line is clear ATB no1

My point exactly your not having these tests done for your dogs benefit in any way your having them done because you can make more money!!! and if you have a bitch with bad hips doesnt mean that if you breed off it all its pups will have bad hips same the other way round so whats the point
