............. for some pics as the piking was crap.

 

Yesterday morning we headed north for a spot of pike angling, last week we had a few nice fish from this water, but not today One of the lads was passing comment on the lack of wind on the day, the lake was mirror like the whole day, ball breaker. As one of the lads commented that the lake was as flat as my birds tits,, and my reply was you should know you are married to her, anyway the craic was good. We did missed two small jacks, but no cigar. The lake in question is shallow for most part of it, but yesterday we had avisit from the farmer and found that the far bank had a depth of 15 feetm the rest of th elake is around 6 feet all over, and he also gave me premission to take out any foxs that might be at his lambs, happy days. Unlucky at least your getting chance to get out, we are supposed to be out this weekend for some piking but with this cold weather freezing everything, its not looking good!
