mussells 0 Posted April 24, 2007 Report Share Posted April 24, 2007 i lost my dog for about an hour last night,i was playing darts with a couple of mates,the consevatory door was open and the terrier was outside,just as it got dark he dissapeared.WEll i called and called but he had gone out to the field so i grabbed the lamp and went seeking,calling and calling all the way.Anyway i heard him barking around the corner went to see but no terrier in sight,now normally in this instance he,s heard me shout and ran back to the house,so i went went back to the garden and a bloody fox sneaks out the garden and stops right in front of me,(tyipical i had no gun on me),it bolted across the field and the terrier popped out the same bush but at other end.By this time foxy had gone and im sure my dog was barking at this fox but he acted like he had not seen it as he made no attempt to chase it(normally he,s off like a rocket, you know the score)... Im very confused as not blowing my terriers trumpet but he,s hot to trot and doesnt normally miss a trick.. i guess he was searching the area but mrs vixen was too sly.Oh well i,ll be waiting tonight as my house mate said the night before their was two in nearly the same place about the same time,just after dark...
