Recommended Posts

bought my lad a airarms s200 for christmas and a ernest hill pump.once ive connected it up and recharged the gun is it ok to turn the valve on the pump before i release the adaptor.is it a one way valve so i dont lose any air from the cylinder.not a shooting man so any help would be great.unless i release the valve i cannot get the adaptor off or is there a easier way.

as you say really mate

1- attach valve to gun

2- pump

3- let the air out of the line (unscrew the valve on pump)

4- your ready to go

if you dont let it out you can nacker the O rings on the valve and where you but the valve in the gun

There is a one way valve in the gun. You need to release the line pressure (200 odd bar) to safely remove the hose. If you try to pull it without releasing the pressure then you risk the end of the hose whipping around and doing some serious damage (not to mention O-ring damage!)
