I am not a professional car evaluator. Just seems a very funny question to me. Oh and its cheaper for me to get comprehensive cover than third party fire and theft. spade 224 Posted February 3, 2012 Report Share Posted February 3, 2012 Fully comp usually is cheaper than 3rd party because insurance companies see you as being more responsible. Worst thing I came across was getting a quote on the web for a bit under £500. Spoke to the company and told them that I had sign writing on truck (L200 and i'm a gardener) and the quote went up to over £1500. Company reckoned sign writing was a vehicle modification and as such price goes sky high. Could understand it more if I was a boy racer with a pimped up prickmobile but for a bit of writing wtf!!!.
