any one usd a net makeing machine for gill nets been makeing drift nets all day feching machine would be handy , munted a fifty yarder to day a bit of work got work for a machine for lobster nets etc gill nets

nobody ever used the mounting machines for nets there like big sowing machines for gill , nets etc , wonder if there any in the uk

I had a go with one a few years back at a major fishing exibition, a Norwegian Company had one of these Brother Gill Net sewing M/C on display, very impresive i must add, the M/C even had an alarm set up to let you nowe when a float was to be added to the headline, with one of these machines you can rig all types of nets in no time at all, any of the commercial gear suppliers here in the U.K. would probably supplie you with one, they aint cheap though but you may be able to pick up a second hand one through one of the gear suppliers.... thanks , ill need to start looking for them maybe get a good second hand one , mind you a second hand one maybe trouble , been makeing nets, fixing boat doing house up walking dogs , and getting back to work a week on monday all go, a machine would be handy munting gill nets is good in the weather but not in the wind etc , im going to the boat show this year ille see some body about one thanks
