J.DOG 1,355
Does anyone work pure greyhounds like lurchers if so what do you think of them how are they in field Cheers JD Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
Me old mans got one. But been schooled properly like a Lurcher not how the tracks make them, it ain't to bad a dog at all it's 26tts jumps and retrieves to a degree as in within 10 feet of him, not perfect but hey. It's on it's first season and doing well. Doesn't just run flat out he has gears and uses them well has a heart of a lion, Stamina to burn, which is a great thing for a grey as most don't but again I truly believe that's due to the way it's reared. My collie/grey first cross I'd say has the same amount of stamina as his grey and my first cross as many people on here have seen will run all night. It plays for hours with my dog free running and doesn't blow out .So in all I think if entered and schooled properly in the field there a very underestimated breed. 2 Quote Link to post
