Toal2011 40
Was in this area today went to a farm I have been goin to for years. Pulled into yard seen farmer said 15 fellas with dogs on the ground week before wrecked fences and put cattle all over the place wit some so bad had to be put down. So that's it for that farm. Farmer said all the local farmers have been meeting and telling all not to allow people with dogs onto ground and Phone guards and rangers. Went to ten more farms within a 20mile radius and all said no hunting no more cause big squads stealing farm equipment and recking fences and slipping as many dogs at game as possible. Hunting in Ireland is coming to an end because of the amount eejits in game. There will b a time were u won't be able to hunt anywhere without a load of hassle. I no for a fact there will be alot of trouble in the the areas above. Never seen the game in worse order a shame really 1 Quote Link to post
fat man 4,742
Much the same happened only 15 mile down the road in delvin a couple of months back.Farmer asked them not to go on his land and they went in regardless and 1 of them openly walked up the road swinging a dead hare as the farmer returned.Guards and wildlife ranger were called but nothing became of it as the dead hare done a houdini act and could not be found. Its ok for the likes of them b*****ds but its the genuine lads that come behind are the ones to suffer.I dont hunt hares although i do keep a lurcher but just for fox,but i have already lost good permission because of people like this. The farmer said the only way he could see an end to it was to ban all hunting on his land which he did,i also lost an easy entrance to the lake i fish and a safe place to leave my boat for the fishing season over these eejits, but then there is always a small minority to f**k it up for everyone.
