Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 After yesterdays pleasant day in a easy to reach ditch we had a crack at a hedge that has a very hard causeway track with the warrens inbetween a rabbit fence a barbed wire fence in the centre and a stockfence bordering our side nightmare to net either purse or long and the dog was useless as the coneys kept running up and down out of reach. Lots of coneys nailed a few not deep but hard as hell to dig though the causeway with scalping that had been wacked down. We had a conflab and the thought that we would upsticks and have a rethink on how to tackle the area as we where losing too many. So we moved to area with steep bank with ash trees netted up bang 8 in the bag after our measley 1 for two hours first thing. We work our way up the bank and called it a day in spot that would allow a full day later this week. Finnished with 19 A dive for the coney Got him and the damage to the hedging is very bad they seem real short of food here ATB Cookie Quote Link to post
