You need a sony handycam with night shot. I have used a sr32 & sr33 which are both fantastic and compact. Or you can use the one that si uses which has a better chip 1/4 rather 1/6 which is better quality but you have to use it upside down on the scope as it is quite long, so you will need software that will flip the video footage.

I think you will far more better accuaracy with the sony handycams as they are more fitted to the scope than a digital camera as they have to be further back and therefore making it more uncomfortable.

 

As for samsung nightshot i dont have a clue pal. Only ever seen and used sonys nightshot.

 

But as for sony handycam vs digital camera, i own both and much prefer shooting with the handycam
