Spaniels And Terriers

hi,

just interested to know why people would use terriers over spaniels for bushing/beating rabbits etc.i have never seen a terrier hunt cover only in videos on youtube and i shoot with 2 springers and those terriers aren't even close to them.in my opinion they just don't seem as fast or interested as spaniels.in general though do they hunt cover in a different style to a springer or cocker?

some people just prefer them i suppose. cant see any terrier doing cover like a spaniel tho

i have one she's 3/4 springer 1/4 terrier. only have her 2 months and she has put a good few reds out to my lurchers

My own opinion was to bring the size down a bit as some springers can be tall and not every one can gell with the springers energy and their caracture who have just kept terriers.
