Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
Well me and the old man gave the woodies a rest today even thogh condition where better for bit of decoying. Arrived too early pitch black at 0745 so sat the wind and rain out it grew a little lighter so we set off to this area is right in the thames basin and in july 2007 floods the rabbit population was all but wipe out on this farm. Its taken 4/5 years years for coney population to recover enough for them to cause damage to crops was a cracking farm before nice easy thames gravel to dig in for the coneys as well as us. We started along a ditch heavey think grass and only one and two holers all buries had one in lost one missed bolt hole in the grass sack that man. We creep up a old ash hedge line missed one bury as saw a charlie slip into it . We finnished with 18 coneys some had young that had been the doe had put a end too so maybe we are due some bad weather. Today bag And the lane leading to farm in 2007 when the floods hit Cheers Cookie Edited December 28, 2011 by cookiemonsterandmerlin Quote Link to post
