Also frustration imo is a big part of it, if I'm out and the dogs are only having 3-5 runs a night the dog think sod you your not having it !! When they we're retrieving well the dogs had a lot to run at, so the reward was another slip. Now i think they realise that next slip might not be for a good while so don't want to play the game ?
