zini 1,939
Hi lads, Just a few pics of my new Winter NV setup that i will be using to shoot bunnies and rats with. The monocule is a good model and a high generation optic and i have added a separate IR touch to it so rabbits eyes show up to about 150 metres in pitch darkness. I use this unit for spotting the rabbits and walking into range before using the lamp and rifle to shoot them with. The lamp is my new 1.5 million candle power model that i have added a IR 3mm sheet of plastic to. The head on the lamp can be adjusted for left and right, up and down and the beam can be adjusted from a wide beam good for ratting to a very narrow spot beam, good for rabbits at longer ranges. I will do a review of it in action and put a clip up later when i get more time. Got some ratting to do just after Christmas with Davy so it should serve me very well. Si. zini 1,939
Ive got one already mate that i use with me Tracer Max but when it comes to IR i like it as bright as possible so i wont fit one on this model. The brighter the IR the better the camera focuses and the better the footage is when edited. I use my dimmer for rabbits on the Tracer and turn the red light right down. That works really well.
