which fly tying kit

Recommended Posts

get yourself individual items bud

the kits are usually filled with throw away items and you will soon be upgrading

having said that, sportfish do a good general tying tool kit and dr. slick also do good kits, stay clear of stone fly, they are not very long lasting

depends on what you intend tying - salmon or trout - lake river etc then chose material to suit

some of the kits i've seen really are a waste of time

ask at you local shop and if they are worth their salt they'd be able to get the basic,s for you to build on

cheers lads, think ill go down the tackle shop and order individual pieces in then , just took up fly fishing this year and i find i really only enjoy fishing dries albeit i havent fished a river yet and if funds allow will be able to give the salmon a bash this year. Something to the pass the time when i get in from pike fishing rather than watching 'TOWIE' or any other reality shite :cray:
