chilly 59
hi im quite new to keeping lurcher's, got my first lurcher here that is only about 11 months collie x grey, just started her working recently with a little ferreting she done quite well good speed and pray drive and caught 2 boulters that tried to make it across the field. now i dont now if she will ever have when she is older what it would have taken to tackle fox pre ban, she may she may not time will tell but given the new laws i suppose she will not get the chance! what i would like to now is which x in your opinion or experience has the better likely hood as there is nothing guaranteed in the dog game , of possessing all that is required to become a proficient rabbit dog , good speed , turning ability, brains etc while ferreting lamping mooching, and still possessing the fire and ability to hit fox hard and get the job done pre ban, i now man will say collie grey and i am not disagreeing but think it can be vary hit and miss with this x being new to the game i havent seen many xs work , been looking into and reading a little on bedlington xs, and deerhound xs quite like the idea of a deer/collie/grey whats your thoughts ?
