Country Joe 1,411
I know what you mean, many years ago when I first started ferreting, I would go out with Fert in a bank bag, and a few nets in a pocket, and one Lurcher Dog. No spade, bag, or finders, stop nets, or cameras, Usually returned with a pair of Bunnies but happy. Now when I go out I feel like a Sherpa on a Everest expedition. Quote Link to post

Guest vin
i still do the same mate, when im having a mooch,, bank bag, dozen nets in other pocket,, a also have a short handled spade, the blade sits in my inside poachers pocket, and the handle goes up under my armpit,, theres no other way round it im afraid,,, or your carrying a box.. there are those little poachers boxes though. i have thought about another idea though,, but not worked on it.... i thought about one of those big bum bags that hikers yous, cut a small pannel out the front 3-4 inch square with a stanley knife, and stich or ty rap a square of 1/4 inch mesh in. or you can buy kits to put brass eylets in things,, 3 or 4 big ones of those might do the trick I can see that working mate..as long as you dont fall over and go arse over tit...lol. Something I do quite regular...hhmmm. Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
£15 for a bag to hold ferrets! Flaming hell. I've got an old daysack here, missus was giving me an ear bashing about going ferreting Friday so I told her I was away to walk the dog. Threw the ferret in a pillow case and the nets in the bag and went over the back for 40mins. Got 2 rabbits and she wasn't any the wiser! 1 Quote Link to post
