david2363 42
Nobby Rillington are in my opinion the best of all the Bedlingtons, bred by the late George Newcombe of Rillington (funnily enough) in North Yorkshire. There is every likelyhood that this side of the dog has a bit of Lakeland in him. Gutchcommon can be kc reg, founded by the late M Williamson, They are a bit more refined than the Rillingtons and in my opinion, generally not quite as game, but in the right hands they can work very well. Both of these strains have great noses, and are very sound compared to the fluffy white Crufts type of shite. and are therefore the ones to use in breeding a quality lurcher be it Bed/Whippet or Bed/ Grew. Here is a pic of my young Rillington x Gutchcommon dog. and this is Badger - pure Gutchcommon Quote Link to post
