If a cat comes into your garden and your dogs kill it where do you legally stand ? it's not happened yet but my neighbour just got one, and it sits at the other side of the fence while my dogs go ape sh*t trying to get at it. i will do my best not to let it happen, but one day i might not be there

If ye not there encouraging ye Dogs onto it, or doing nothing to try and stop them tearing it to pieces, mate? No case to answer. I expect the local 'cats are wonderful people too' brigade will find this and pile in. F*ck them and f*ck their cats. Cat's have their own private loopholes in british law. But no law in the land suggests that You must take responsibility for Their stupidity.

 

Go after someone elses cat, in ye garden, with malice aforethought? Differant matter. Criminal Damage. But if it decides to walk among the clear and present danger of ye pre established Dogs? Well .....

my last dog killed next doors cat that came in to garden when dog was running about ,folk next door tried to take me to court but it was throwing out cos i had made all reasonably measures to keep dog secure judge said it was as much up to the cat owner to make there garden secure the owner then said that cat have right away but the judge said it was nature so at last the law aint an ass in everything
