A question that gets asked is how to introduce a dog to ferrets.good advice usually given is let a pup drink from the same bowl. take it to the hutches/courts when feeding cleaning out etc.also showing the ferret to the dog holding it in your hand etc(repremand if necessary).one thing a do and i feel it helps if you have hutches and not a court. is to get or make a mesh frame up.the ferrets are on the same ground level as the dog.let the dog sit/lie near the ferrets.it helps them get used to each other quickly. a young pup with ferrets also helps young kits get used to a dog walking around them.by the time you are ready to work them they are more than used to be around each other.just a little something i feel helps. even just 1/2 hr each day in good weather.
