hitting the ditch

Recommended Posts

Was out tonight for a quick shine, good few rabbits about.

One of the lads whippet was stuck up the rear end of a bunny and was about to close its mouth on the bunny when it hit the ditch, the bunny that is. The whip just strolled back with not a care in the world, but…… the lad who owns the dog went fucken ballistic over him not hitting the ditch after the bunny.

Is it that important for a dog to hit the ditch after a bunny?? On the other hand I would expect a dog to hit the ditch hard after Charlie, but don’t think I would loose sleep over a poxy bunny. It just so happens that my bitch took a bunny from deep in the ditch tonight which did’en help the matter, but to be honest I could’en care less if she never hit a ditch after one, once she give all for me on the chase than I am happy.

I know a whippet for sale,, lol
