rotton123 7 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Share Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) hello little bit of advice required how can i get my dog to go deeper into cover hes keen when he can smell something and will enter but not deep enough. as for the breed before anyone asks hes a labradoodle breed from labrador gun dog and a working poodle retriever i ve seen both theses dogs work and pretty good but my dog thinks hes a lurcher and makes good runs on rabbits and birds and is keen on entering cover i would like to use him for falconary eventually hes 3 years old and not long started to work him but he is super keen here is a lttle pic of my hunting partner "http://i1232.photobu.../IMG_0858-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> any help greatly appriciated Edited October 19, 2011 by rotton123 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
forest of dean redneck 12,023 Posted October 19, 2011 Report Share Posted October 19, 2011 throw some dog kibble in there it will soon go in then, if you throw it left and right like they used to sow corn years ago by hand you can get them in the habit of quartering the ground.
