Plong 21 Posted October 21, 2011 Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 Never fished it but having read alot about it in Pike & Predator I don't think I will be off there anytime soon, deadbaits get stripped to the bone by all the crayfish and a double seems to be a big fish in there now. austringer 0 Posted October 22, 2011 Report Share Posted October 22, 2011 alrite chaps,me and a mate went there twice in september and did quite well on the first trip he had a 22lb pike and my biggest was about 12lb,the action was pritty constant and we caught plenty smaller fish,the second trip was the same action wise and the biggest fish was 15lb.As for baits being striped by crays it wasnt to bad this time,but we have been there before and got hammered but a poped up bait usually sorts that out.so i would say its worth a shot and obviously abit ov knowlege on were to fish helps atb Quote Link to post
