Hi all,

My Dad will be 60 next year and I'm looking for something different for him.

He always had working Lurchers & Terriers and is a very experienced fisherman.

I was thinking of a Falconry Experience gift, because it's something I don't think he's ever done but is in keeping with the type of thing he'd enjoy. Ideally it would be in the North West and would involve going out and working a hawk(s) - everything I've found so far isn't an actual working package.

I'd be grateful for any ideas - ta

A "Hawk Walk" would be ideal plus you could also arrange a Hunting day with most of the companies, this is one in the Yorshire area I just googled up but if you type "Hawk Walk" in you'll probably find you closer to where you are  .

If its Hunting he likes I'm sure most could get him out on a days Hunting.......

That falconry experience sounds like a really good match for your dad, especially if he's into outdoor stuff and animals. My dad’s into fishing too and loves spending time outdoors, so last year I went for something he could choose himself, a gift card that covered a range of activities. He ended up booking a guided fishing trip near us, which he absolutely loved because he got to pick exactly what he wanted on his own schedule.
