Irish Lurcher 1,013
In recent months we have had some nice Pike from this water, and most of the Pike were doubles,, so like kids heading to a candy shop we made the track to the venue. The weather forcast was not in out favour, strong wingds with lashing rain were on the cards for today and for once they got it right. From the word go it poured down and not that it bothered us as we were well protected from the wind and rain, but its always nice to have a little bit of sun when out piking. Not a single run all morning, which we has expected as we found that evening runs seem to be the norm on this water, and bang on cue later in the noon we got a belter of a run. A fine pike of ten pound on the nose was weighted and released, the fight itself was super, plenty of tail walking and strong deep runs. Pics below. Quote Link to post
