keepitcovert 842
Frequent topic on here is when they reverse the ban. Forget it. it aint going to happen, reasons why 1 hunting with dogs isnt a moneyspinner. Now realistically can you see game shooting being banned or fishing for that matter, with an estimated 6 million anglers in this country and god knows how many employees in fieldsports related activities i reckon that aspect of our sport is safe until the next century. When the shit hit the fan the so called elitist sports bore the brunt. But in reality was hunting with dogs banned purely because it didnt generate enough revenue, and therefore in this politically correct craphole we now live in was it the easy option for the labour goverment to do. I get a bit pissed off when i talk to anglers and they dont see themselves as hunters, so catching fish isnt hunting, albeit in a different form. Shooting men once granted permission sometimes suddenly become self appointed gamekeepers on land you may have hunted for years. Seems to me that the time for unity in whatever your particular sport is is long overdue. Before any one asks yes i do shoot and i love fishing, but my first love is working my lurchers. Food for thought whats your view. YIS KIC.
Richie10 345
Very true, it's what I have said for years. Remember people they don't care about animals they can't cuddly. I am a shooter, but the amount of new shooters that have started with no previous knowledge of fieldsports or even think hunting with dogs is cruel is incredible. People in general are ignorant.
