redpat1 225
You guys have given me plent of advice about getting my own terriers and a few of you have suggested trying my local working terrier club. If I did go along would they mind that I dont yet have terriers (I have lurchers) and would just like to gain some more experience and knowledge befor I jump in the deep end? Are the guys who use these clubs usually a sound lot or are they likely to be a bit cliquey? Again all sensible comments and experience would be appreciated. Pat Quote Link to post

events co-ordinator 353
The F&MWTC always welcomes new members and I know from experience how difficult it is to get volunteers to help at shows so join your local club and offer to give a hand at shows or help at a rescue as a novice even if your only making tea at a rescue or helping at a show or selling raffle ticket it takes pressure off some one else.best of luck. 1 Quote Link to post
