rotton123 7 Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 i know ferrets play very rough but i recently seperated them because one had bite on his back any way to cut a long story short got told keep them together but i have noticed he must be getting bittin every day always looks fresh someone told me to put savlon on it to stop the other one biting would this work? any comments greatly appreciated. I dont think you can ever be to cautious , if you think they need separating then by all means do it , yes they do play rough but it depends on how rough & if one ferrets getting bitten & has broken skin then I have read others use sudacreme on the sores , not sure about savlon to be honest I would always advice anyone to air on the side of caution when you have ferret fighting or have ferrets with constant open sores from very rough play , simply because i had a ferret killed by another one here years ago , and its just made me cautious about leaving them to '' rough'' it out , thats only one experience , I have had them play rough before & be absolutely fine , but its no harm in being observant Quote Link to post
