Generation bred deerhound x collie x greyhound x whippet snoopdog, very strong fast good strike ect dogs.

 

Apparently, going back to the 70's

 

He had a look at some saluki crosses, these fellas lived vey close to some pretty big feilds though and the price tags were something else.

saluki crosses can be fairly pricey frank but you get what you pay for i suppose ...but at the end of the day you have to set your self a budget not every body can afford them ...at the end of the day they can be best to best breeding and even if you give that dog everthing it dosent meen your going to get aworld beater but it gives you that slight edge if it has come from good stock ..i.e. the potencial is there ..but the deerhound x what you mentioned sounds like it will be good for the sort of terrian hes running on ..but personally would prefer a bit of saluki in it no matter what sort of terrian it was.. how much saluki would of coarse depend on what sort of ground but saluki in the blood for me .... obvously thats just my preffrence but i like em let us no how he goes on ..

He himself has no computer, lives in the middle of nowhere with just enough electric to get him by.

Bit of a hermit so he is.

I do know though, their are hares on his doorstep.
