gurtwurz 793 Posted September 10, 2011 Report Share Posted September 10, 2011 alright folks, a few months back we started a photo comp in the airgun section with the intention of using the winning photo's to make a calender that could be sold to raise money for Help For Heroes, but a couple of folk have commented that since it was in the airgun section and its quite a tightly knit group then no-one outside of said section would want to enter it although it was open to anybody who wanted to enter, regardless of what sections they may or may not frequent on here. i wasnt trying to exclude anybody by putting it there in the first place, it was just to try and get something going for a worthy cause, and as i'm usually there it seemed like a good idea at the time... response hasnt been great, but since danw has kindly donated a weekends deerstalking as the grand prize, and there are a few more choice prizes being worked on, its definitely worth doing. if anybody wants to enter this months comp, please feel free to bowl over to general airgun discussion and read the rules(what few there are) and have a go. i'll bung it up here from october onwards, so hopefully it'll get a better response and we can make a really good calender that'll raise a few quid for a very worthy cause. cheers, wurz 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
