hes roughly 12 weeks old,

and he sprays alot i think its over excitement is this common?

if i let him in from the garden or out his cage the legs are going the tails going then the urines going,

i can understand letting him out the cage to go out ,but coming back in.

Very common in spaniels...............it will grow out of it. Try not to make a fuss of it when its in the house.

It's more common in males, it can happen from extreme emotions like fear or excitement. It should settle as the pup gets older the nerves are still growing and it will calm down.

cheers fellas i read in irvings book about not making fuss when it pees in house,

when do they roughly tend to come out of it ?

 

this is me first spanner more used to terriers and lurchers.

I don't know about spanners but my Border Collie really eased up on it around 6 months old but if he gets really excited even today he will shot wizz. He's 3 but it hardly ever happens anymore.
