lurcher330 2,301
Most shows have Under 23 and Overs. As far as I was concerned there was a non-pedigree whippet section, so I entered that Now as far as i`m concerned that what I class him as, that is what he is classed in the UK, but in your eyes he`s a lurcher and therefore your right ! Rose can run her dogs in what ever group she decides and have often run against them and her mums Paris. Paris would be of the same type of Whippet as Ernie. Roses would have a lot more Greyhound blood in them but would still be classed as Whippets in the UK and thats where the problem lies. What`s classed as a non-ped whippet in the UK is classed as a Lurcher here. There`s no guidlines, rule books or proper organisations here and until there is, there will always be conflict. Subject now closed in my book ! but when these classes were put forward for Birr it stated that there would be a class for pure bred whippets with papers and a class for pure bred whippets without papers and your dog is neither. the likes of rose is having a bad effect on racing in general she done it in south armargh it was there first show and she ruined it when she took over the racing knowing what to race her dogs against UNDER 23' ROSE 1 2 3 4 the likes of her and a few others should not be allowed to race there dogs Her dogs do well in their own classes so as far as im concerned fair doe's to her why shouldn't she race them
