oakey 57 Posted August 18, 2011 Report Share Posted August 18, 2011 Well the new season is nearly here , and this year the rabbits are still here (last year was a wash out due to mixy) the thing ive been thinking is the ground is that hard round here we an't going to be digging. So we could be sat a lot waiting for the ferrets to come out but then years ago thats what we did no ferret finders then and one thing i can say is that ive never lost a ferret . DanRaistrick 53 Posted August 18, 2011 Report Share Posted August 18, 2011 I took my two out last night for a quick warm up session and over the 180 acres we were on there were only a few about, most of them being too small anyway. netted a few, and had one snap a net then another few got out of holes we didnt manage to cover. noticed quite a few dead rabbits laid about on my way round though so presuming that theres quite a case of mixxy on the farm so im just gonna leave that permission til the numbers rack up again.
