Couple of handy looking tykes there Sambo.Hope someone near you will come forward,if they do let us know how you get on.Have you got any of your own permission yet?I know it can be hard to come by,but, you just have to keep asking, and, offering your services(labour) during the summer,as farmers always need help during the summer. If you prove yourself to be reliable you should soon start gaining some permission, and, usually when you get some, some more will come along then.Good luck. :clapper:

thanks a lot martin.ye it is hard lol.ill have to find [bANNED TEXT] soon who i can tag along with or get some permission.up to now i just get a few rats in a small stream near some old game crop.thats the only place thats really decent.and im not allowed on there.dont mean to sound untrustwothy but where else can i go.its either risk it to get a few rats and carry on working my dogs or let them sit in the house all day.and thats worse.i go alone all the time cos no1 round here is "into" dogs really.ill just have to be patient and hopefully it will pay off .(iv been thinking that for 3 years lol).cheers anyway . :) sambo123

Just do what i used to do mate and rough it.. just get out with the dog's mooching any chance you can along beck's/stream's/tip's and farm land in dykes you name it they will be rat's somewhere.. not in big number's but they will be there..

Try and find a good quiet spot near to a water source and stick a few bag's of wheat down the rat's will soon start gathering around there. :good: ..

At the end of the day mate just keep trying you will come good eventualy and you will be learning on the way all the time..
