slip lead's

Just wondering what you lad's use as a slip lead? I bought a nice one a few years ago at the Waterloo,but to be honest when the dog is straining on the lead,it's a right barsteward to release.I'm now back to the "old faithfull" which is four foot of webbed nylon,with a small loop in one end.

if it works for you stick with it,i bought one from place in countrymans, johnson field sports i think. very good and reasonable price too.

I MAKE MY OWN OUT OF THIN WEBBED NYLON RIBBON,,THEY LOOK WEEK AS PISS BUT THEY ARE REALLY STRONG , IVE SOLD A FEW ON HERE

5' of baler twine, with a loop at each end. cheap but does the job!

i just just a gun dog slip lead and cut the end off , or a strong rope ,

i use rope thourgh the ring on there coller cheap and works well i had a slip coller and lead but found it sometimes detached it self when you didnt want it to
