jacob 28
i had to take my son to the hospital today because hed stretched his thumb too far back, and pulled all the ligaments,i thought it was funny when the doctors called it poachers thumb, apparantly thats what its known as in the medical proffession, because it used to be very common with poachers stretchin all them rabbit necks  i thought at the time i must have done a fair few in my time and have never suffered with it, maybe it skips a generation or something has anyone else heard of it? Guest Ditch_Shitter
I haven't, personally. But then, I'm not a medic and I always used the crook of my thumb and forefinger for the stretch. But you think about it though; If ye did use the ball of ye extended thumb against the vertebrae? It seems perfectly reasonable that ye could well end up doing yeself some mischief! Ouch! Puts a whole new light on Repettetive Strain Injury, eh? F*ck that!
