sylus 0
hi there; me and my mate set of sunday morning from essex to view the saluki/greyhound that lurcherbitch advertised, if you read my new member post you will see that for many years i have been a stafford enthusiast and work them over the fields regularly, i have occasionally been out with friends working their running/lurcher dogs and enjoy these dogs in action. i must admit i have always liked saluki's but never dreamt of getting one. anyway after getting the phone number from lurcherbitch and speaking to the pups guardian, i had to drink eight cans of beer to calm my excitement and boy was i excited,( i dont think my goodlady shared the same enthusiasm as me as thats all i could talk about) we arrived at glossop some two hundred miles away and there he was, just what i expected and fell in love with him straight away( i could of done with another eight beers to calm me down again) we set off home and he howled, barked and whined for almost two hundred miles, pissed in the house a couple of times and has been as good as gold since, i am over the moon with him and thank lurcherbitch 100% will put some pics of him up soon rant over Quote Link to post
