HAMMERDAN 25
thinking of getting my first lurcher any tips out there for a rookie my advise dont get one. exactly right, have you read up about them? Do you Know there temperament, how and what to feed, excercise etc... There's plenty of dogs out there, just not enough clued up owners to take real care of them, it's no wonder some of us get a bad name. All I'm saying is, don't jump in at the deep end and be inpatient, clue yourself up first then you will be able to tell yourself what breed you require. Atb with you decision HD. Quote Link to post
J.DOG 1,355
yeah mate just take your time do some reaserch and maybe go see some more exsperianced people who have owned lurchers a while. There are lots of different crosses to consider but you have to get a dog that suites you best and it also depends on what ground you are working on and what you are hunting so just take a look around and don't rush into anything cos you may end up with something you can't handle atb mate good luck choosing a dog Quote Link to post
