I lived in the city for a while (5years), and aspects of life there is without a doubt different, what i have noticed is that ignorance is a bigger problem than opposition. Honest discussion with people who are prepared to listen can be a good experience all round. City life has its up side but i could not wait to get home.

My wife and i are both country people who lived in the city for a while before we met. Both of us wanted to return to live in our home town, which we did (we're from the same town but got together when we met in the city!). Anyway she supports several elements of country sports, we're looking forward to having a dog i shoot, and fish, we watch the hounds some times, and on the whole shes fine with country sports, but she wont let me have a ferret! Can't complain too much though :D

Cheers

Al
