new rifle

all right lads.

just thinking of tradeing in my .22 marlin mag for a starned .22 rifle.

what i would like to know is it fairly straigt forward or is their a lot of paper work

and red tape to go through regaurding the law.

any help and advice welcome.

Not to sure, i would think it would be simple, when the rifle has the same calibre to.

to change the subject i have a marlin too what to you think of them.

i find the marlin a good enough rifle but sense rabbits and magpies is my main quarry

i think a .22 would be better and cheaper in the long run.

but on saying that the marlin is a strong and sturdy rifle.

but ammo at 21 euro a box its a bit steep.

if you have .22lr and .22mag on your ticket. if not then you might have to apply for a .22lr on your ticket

you can only can have 1 at a time here as far as i know.

 

 

How does that work?

 

.22lr and .22WMR are very different animals, is it simply calibre, and what about .22CF?

That's dear for bullets, i can get them for 10.00 sterling for 50 bullets.

 

Can you buy bullets in the south if you have a northern licence?
