bull cross percentages?

Now then lads and lasses iv just been getting a bull greyhound pup off me mate, the sire is a 1/8 bull grey and the dam is a 3/8 5/8. Just wanting to know, what will that make the pups? I shite at stuff lyk that!!

Assuming the dam is 3/8 bull then pups will be 1/4 bull 3/4 grey.

 

1/8 bull + 3/8 bull = 4/16 bull

 

4/16 = 2/8 = 1/4

i used to go along with all this% stuff, but it dont really matter, because ive seen pups from the same litter that were same way bred with only 2 breeds in there. And they all came out alot differnt (some racey,cobby,big,small,) and these were bullxs you can get some 3/8 bull 5/8 grey just as big as 1x 's or some 1xs racey and some like tanks. Ithink the only time the litter are very alike is 1/4 what ever? and 3/4 grey , these % do seem more uniform as a litter

Spot on bird, I've seen pups from the same litter that nobody would think were related.

I do agree with you bird.

 

But it annoys me when people say "it's just a lurcher."

 

That could mean f**k all. It could be anything from a deerhound with a dash of bull to a whippet with a dash of jack russel.

 

I think it's nice to know exactly what went into the pups but each to there own
