SLiP tHe DoG ! 129 Posted July 7, 2011 Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 Bit of a random question like but Anybody fancy giving me a hand and fixing me lamp ! ive tried rewiring it but to be honest i havnt got a clue what im doing tested the battery for power thats fine brand new bulb and cant see any damage to the wires ill bring it to you for a look , the lads are just as thick if not worse than me thats why im asking on here ! ( i do have friends ) im about 15 minutes from sunderland ! have a walk out with the dogs or something for half an hour aswell if ya fancy it cheers lads Quote Link to post Share on other sites

simonrocco 175 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Share Posted July 8, 2011 strip some wire back and see if it gone a black colour like its burnt i had this happen on 2 of my lamps it took me ages to figure out what it was i tried everything new bulb new switch new end where the bulb slots into then i noticed the wire was a black colour instead of a copper colour so rewired them and they both work fine now. good luck fixing it Quote Link to post Share on other sites
