Malt 379 Posted July 3, 2011 Report Share Posted July 3, 2011 Get frontline spray from the vet, and while you're there get yourself a set of tick pickers for about a fiver.They're invaluable. Use these first and get as many ticks off as you can. I find the easiest way to apply the spray is to use rubber gloves, spray a few pumps into you palm & then rub into the ferret against the direction of the hair. Hold the ferret firmly, you may want to have somebody there to offer a third hand. I'd also suggest disposing of all bedding in the living area and treating every nook and cranny with an insecticide spray. You'll have to leave the ferret out of it for a few hours after. Make sure you use enough and make sure you get it into any small joints in any wood because pinhead sized ticks can get into the smallest of gaps. 1 Quote Link to post
