metal detecting

Never seriously, Beag's. Though I aquired a rather clapped out Detector one time and spent some quality free time on the local beach with it. I usually found enough loose change to help with the beer bill!

My old neighbour was quite into it too. Him and his mate used to treat it like quite serious poaching forays. Sneaking onto land at night to plod about like rabbit diggers with locators!

Any way ye look at it, it's good craic. Something to keep ye occupied in the summer. I'd reccomend it :good:

I got into detecting bout 8yrs back, paid around £400 for it and used it once, lol

although the one and only time I went out, I found a silver sixpence from one of the henry king's era, around 850yrs old in fair condition, which I still have somewhere, remember putting it somewhere safe.............but where?,lol

still have the detector, its the one thing I never sold on, as always fancy the idea of getting back into it when Im old and grey, ....$hit the grey is here already :icon_redface:
