The 170 and the 240 use the same bulb but the 170 has a better general beam, the blitz throws more light out to the side but has a narrower core. Some people claim that the Blitz will give you a few more yards in a big field but I run some very big land and my dogs dont seem to believe this. The Blitz is heavy and clunky compared to the Striker as well as being more expensive and mine will be going on ebay when I can get around to it. Quote Link to post
